How can I remove dialogue from a video but keep music and sound effects?
Separate the soundtrack with Dialogue off and Music and Sound effects on. Preview the background audio, use Solo to hear either track on its own, and download the mix you want.
Can I remove narration or a voiceover from an AI-generated video?
Yes. Narration and voiceovers are included in the Dialogue track. Turn that track off to make room for a new voice while keeping the score and scene sounds from your MiniMax, LTX-2.5, Seedance or other AI-generated video.
Can I create a music-and-effects track for dubbing?
Yes. Keep Music and Sound effects on and download their combined audio as a starting point for dubbing or a new voiceover. You can also download the tracks separately to adjust the score and scene sounds independently in your editor.
Can I remove just one speaker while keeping the other voices?
The Dialogue track contains the spoken voices together, so muting it removes dialogue across the selected section. To work on a voice that appears at a particular moment, choose a section around it. Overlapping speakers share the same track.
Is removing dialogue the same as removing vocals from a song?
Dialogue removal works on spoken voices in a scene. For singing, karaoke backing tracks or acapellas, use Vocal Separator, including when the song is in a music video. Use Vocal Separator for songs.
Why can I still hear speech after removing dialogue?
Speech with strong echo or sounds that overlap closely with music and effects can appear in more than one track. Use Solo to check Music and Sound effects separately and choose the background tracks that work best for your new voiceover.
Will removing dialogue change the picture or remove subtitles?
The picture stays the same when you download a supported video with your new soundtrack. Subtitles or text already burned into the image remain visible; you can manage those separately in your video editor.
Can I download a video without dialogue, or just the background audio?
Yes. Use Download video when it is available for your source and selected section. For background audio, choose WAV for editing or MP3 or M4A for a smaller file. You can also save all three WAV tracks in a ZIP to keep your editing options open.
Is my video uploaded when I remove dialogue?
Your recording stays on your device. Separation and download preparation run in your browser, with no account required. The first run also downloads the AI model; after that, you can keep working with your selected tracks locally.
